Paris

My parents left Paris to go home yesterday and I moved into a tiny studio apartment next to some family friends who have been extremely helpful and gracious! I had my first class at Alliance Française and I think it will be very helpful! So far things are going very well.
At this point in time, I am planning on returning to the States February 18th to figure out jobs and where to go/what to do next. I will try and find a job (or something) in Chicago or possibly Boston... I am trying not to limit myself too much. Seeing as I don't really know what I want to do yet, I am hoping this little adventure will help me have some sort of epiphany.
I will put pictures from Paris up soon, although there are not a lot of them.
I wish you all the very best in the New Year and hope things are starting off well!
All the best,
Samantha

One of the nights we were out to dinner at a nice French restaurant, I sat facing Colin Firth, the British actor just one table away! It is amazing that he looks exactly like he does in the movies! It was like watching a movie, only no drama. Sorry no photos, because I was a polite and respectful fan, who didn't even stare... too much. But my mom got a nice flash of his smile as they were leaving. (Lucky her!!!)
It is ok to be envious, but it was my first time seeing a celebrity in person! So don't be too envious, I am not living in LA... hahaha.

We were going to go to a nice quiet restaurant after the opera, but on the way, I saw the Bears Packers game being played on a huge screen at an Australian bar. So in we went to watch the rivalry. But the one time I get to watch the Bears, and all the way in Vienna, Austria... They play horribly and loose to the Packers!!! (That wasn't very nice of them!)
